Yesterday (August 12), Pledis Entertainment announced in a statement on Weverse that SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Jun will be absent during several activities during the second half of 2024, including their ‘Right Here’ world tour’, due to other obligations.
Jeonghan is set to “fulfill his military obligation in the second half of 2024”, the agency announced, saying that the singer has “already filmed as much content as he could in advance”. Despite that, the K-pop star will not join the group for their upcoming world tour and promotional activities for their upcoming 12th mini-album.
Pledis Entertainment added that the singer will still “be able to meet [with fans] through the previously announced fan signing event and Lollapalooza Berlin”. It will be releasing details regarding Jeonghan’s impending enlistment at a later date.
Meanwhile, Chinese member Jun “pursue acting and other opportunities in China during the latter half of this year”, a decision which the agency says was made after “thorough discussions with Jun and the other members of SEVENTEEN”.
As a result of scheduling conflicts, the K-pop singer will not be present for the boyband’s world tour, promotions for their 12th mini-album and. Lollapalooza Berlin appearance due to scheduling conflicts. However, like Jeonghan, he has also filmed content for the group’s activities in advance.
“Jun is determined to participate in SEVENTEEN’s group activities, and though he is unable to take part in the world tour, Jun will participate as much as he can in schedules that engage with CARATs,” said the K-pop agency added.
